Craig’s Bar Stool Open
Sunday, August 17th
Join us for a bar crawl–style mini golf tournament to support Craig and his family with medical and recovery expenses. Teams of 2–6 will play best ball scoring as each bar features a custom mini golf hole, and part of the day’s proceeds will go directly to help.
Start wherever you like — the crawl begins at 10 AM! (bars listed below) You can explore the route in any order throughout the day.
Not up for the full crawl? No problem! Just meet us at Beacon Hills when doors open at 3 PM.
The final celebration kicks off at 5 PM, so feel free to keep golfing until then. All the details are below
Giving Craig the Support to Stand Strong
Craig McVeigh’s always been the guy who shows up—whether it’s fixing a flat, feeding a crowd, or just being there when you need him. After a serious motorcycle accident and the loss of his leg, it’s our turn to show up for him. Let’s help cover medical costs, support his recovery, and remind Craig he’s not in this alone.
The Man Behind the Meals
Craig McVeigh is known for a lot of things... his troublemaking teen years in his hometown of Tekamah, NE... his time in the Old Market kitchens... his move to Lincoln with his wife Anne to raise their two kids, Jake and Beth... launching his own restaurant, Beacon Hills... and eventually returning to Omaha, where he reconnected with old friends and relocated Beacon Hills to Aksarben Village.
But most of all, Craig is known for showing up—changing tires, helping friends move, cooking meals, covering bills, and lending an ear in hard times. When you think of Craig McVeigh, you think of someone you can count on—a true friend who’s always there when you need him.
Now, it's time we show up for Craig.
In early May, Craig was severely injured in a motorcycle accident. Since then, he’s been recovering in the ICU at Bergan Mercy Hospital and will soon transition to a long-term rehab facility as he begins adjusting to life with a prosthetic leg.
The road ahead includes physical rehab, time away from work, extensive medical costs, and many unknowns. That’s where you come in.
